Bunsai Leather was conceived out of immaculate conception by accessories designer, Lauren Wiener. After working for many years in the fashion industry and feeling disenchanted by the corporate world, Lauren decided to cleanse herself of that life and get back to the basics. Inspired by nature and her love of leather, Lauren uses traditional old-world hand tooling and leather working techniques. Small batch productions allows for each of the pieces to have their own personality and precious quality. Lauren works out of her Brooklyn, NY studio and hopes that the world appreciates these one-of-a-kind leather home goods as much as she enjoys making them.
